Daniel Hall is a great local musical talent you really need to hear if you like progressive rock and acoustic guitar. He really has some superb chops!
I first met Daniel at the this year's Garland Street Festival. He was playing under one of the tents that lined the street, and I was drawn to his music and sound from a long way off. I was at the festival to take pictures of another customer of mine, Tamara White of Shotgun Biscuit, and wandered along taking in the sights, sounds and lovely aromas the festival had to offer. When I heard Daniel's seriously good guitar licks and then heard him sing, I had to get closer to see who was making this excellent music.
I hung around a while and took a lot of pictures of Daniel in performance and knew I had to arrange an opportunity to photograph him without the crowds around. We did just that, and you can see some in the "Portraits" section of this web site.
If you want to see Daniel live, you can catch him at the Ridler Piano bar at 718 W. Riverside Ave in Spokane Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at about 7:30 p.m.
